Logistic APS Consultant - Advanced Planning and Scheduling

Job Description

As an Logistic/APS Consultant you are responsible for implementing Quintiq software at our customers. Our customers range from mid-sized to large international logistic companies. You have affinity with logistic processes. You discuss optimization solutions with management as well as planners. You are able to quickly understand business processes, discover optimization potential, define and design the solution and communicate it to developers as well as to the customer. You enjoy advanced planning and scheduling, solving algorithmic puzzles, in short "solving the daily puzzle". Finally you like working with and managing off/shore development teams.

Job Requirements

Background at HBO/academic level in computer science, econometrics or similar, high abstraction and analytic ability, knowledge of Advanced Planning & Scheduling in one of the abovementioned markets, experience in object-oriented modeling (UML), affinity with logistics, flexible, good communicative skills.
