As an Application Developer (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) you are responsible for developing Quintiq software for our customers. Our customers range from mid-sized to large international logistic companies. You have affinity with logistic processes. You enjoy advanced planning and scheduling, solving algorithmic puzzles, in short “solving the daily puzzle”. Finally you like working in an international environment.
Job Requirements
Candidate must have at least a Masters degree in Software engineering, IT, mathematics, Econometrics, Operational Research, or Artificial intelligence with a strong IT-influenced background.
- A flair for solving complex logical puzzles.
- Strong communicative skills, especially in an environment of top professionals.
- A passion for visionary Advanced Planning & Scheduling solutions and algorithms that contribute to achieving customer satisfaction at 100%.
Experience in operational research and optimization. - Drive to seek out causes of problems in software.
- Interested to travel abroad for projects.
- A training period in Kuala Lumpur is part of the on-boarding.
- At least 4 years of professional software industry experience and demonstrate expert knowledge of Application development in any Object Oriented Programming with databases like SQL Server or Oracle.
- Strong problem solving skills in complex web environments, ability to replicate, diagnose and resolve problems.
Full Understanding of object oriented concepts.
Candidate must have strong software development background using Java, C++, .NET, C#, or similar object oriented platforms. A hands on development test will be part of the selection process.
