Firstly implement the software as a decision support system. Helping the planning department to make well thought trough decisions, for our software system will calculate all consequences of each decision providing the planner with the insight and overview he always asked for.
Then as a second step in implementing Advanced Planning and Scheduling software we add optimisation functionality. Mathematical algorithms as Mixed Integer Programming, Path Optimisation, 2-Opt and 3-OPT strategies help us to create optimal transport plans. Planners love working with these software solution before they really experience the power the system provides while it evaluates each and every opportunity.
The Logic Factory has successfully implemented and integrated Quintiq advanced planning solutions at several of customers. We consider ourselves the expert where it comes to interfacing Quintiq software on database or application level. On an application level we have designed (two way) interfaces to standard TMS systems as Roadrunner, Navision, and others, but also to on-board computer systems like Transics and MobiCoach. In our team we employ experts on all major database environments (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, DB2, MySQL, Ingress).
